ANNO 2016/2017

This is the fifth edition of our yearly digital newspaper. ANNO will be released every new year to inform you about what happened in the past year in our studio and at our exhibitions. At the moment the studio is still situated in an old library in Rijnsburg (near Katwijk).
Ofcourse the main event this year was Ontroerwoud, the exhibition of Wim in CBK Amsterdam. Most of you already know about it, saw a lot on FB or visited the show.
There were also some smaller exhibitions, Marja went to Cyprus to participate in an Art Symposium and a bit of more personal stuff.

ZAKYNTHOS - SOAK

Wim Vonk, Marja van Putten and Marion Molier have been teaching in Greece Zakynthos at Sommer academy in June. We made an aquarel estafette course.
Next year we will go together with Rob Visje.

Marja will expose in april in the Rustenburgerstraat. And we work on another plan for 2017.

SOAK

SET#RUST

Dit maal is SET#NET te vinden in de etalageruimte van Stichting la Jetée, Rustenburgerstraat 385hs, waarbij de smalle ruimte en de verhouding tot het leven op straat een uitgangspunt vormt.

Vanaf februari 2016 gaan we per kunstenaar 2 maanden exposeren Wim Vonk heeft direct een eerste etalage gevuld. Mirjam Berloth is de volgende. Daarna Annechien Verhey, dan Koos Elsen, Hermine Stam, Mareke Geraedts.. tot ver in 2017.. Marja van Putten toont haar werk in april 2016.

We went to Potzdam for the opening of two shows of Armando and we visited Soestdijk to see his last bronze sculpture.

HITCHIN

Wim and Tom Vonk visited Malcolm and Mary Rigby at their farm in Hitchin, England. They also visited the studio of Graham Boyd again.

The area Cruquiusweg is being rebuilt en redeveloped. This means the artists have to go further outside the city to find cheap places. My work was a little in the dark at the expo, this photo is made after the exhibition.

Jan Theun van Rees made a big print of one of his photos and left it for Wim to use it in his installation. It is part of his project with other artists, who work with his photo in their work and studio. The photo is made at the expo Ontroerwoud (CBK Amsterdam)

Bouwt samen met Wim in Rijnsburg aan een stad en heeft een eigen hut in het atelier.

KLAAS DE JONGE IN INKIJK

Vanaf maandag 11 januari t/m 4 maart 2016 was er een expositie van de Afrikaanse beelden van Klaas de jonge in de Etalagegalarie Inkijk in het metrostation Wibaut.

The initative of Marja van Putten, Hermine Stam, Annechien Verhey, that started as Art-trust had some great changes. First of all we became an official founding and changed our name to Stichting Digitaal KunstBeheer. In our board of direction are Gerda Kruimer, Bernadette Wildenburg, Nico Kuyvenhoven.
We are speeding up our plans and next year a lot of things will become more clear and functional.
One important plan is to work together with the RKD in the Hague and we will organize a pilot project in 2017.
