ANNO 2014/5
It is becoming a tradition that we start the new year with a newsletter. We started in 2010/1 so this already the fourth edition of ANNO.
2014
was a turbulent year. We had both a separate exhibition, we assisted in a big assignment for Armando, we went to China, to Spain, to Greece, to England.. We thank all people who visited our studio, who were inspiring in our work and social network both in real life and on Facebook.
EDITORIAL
Also this year we worked on many different projects in our art and assignments. This newsletter will connect the things we have done this year. It will also show our network, people we work with.
Life is art: more and more borders between life and art disappear. Borders about what is art and what is something else: art, kitsch, design, politics, media, fashion...

GO ARTIST!
We were invited by Go Dzya, our Chinese collegue, to build a heart in a shopping mall in Shenyang, China.. Together with Matthijs Lieshout (NL), Angels Artigas Claret (ES), Marc Grañen (ES), Marie Rime (CH) we made a Christmas piece existing of different parts.
We saw lots of art in different places and got a better idea of the contemporary art in China. Shopping malls are the new museums overthere....

STUDIO TRACO, WEESP
We are still both working at the studio at IJsselmeerlaan 8 in Weesp. The place is wonderfull to work in and to invite people to show our newest pieces or to work together with artists who need some space or inspiration.
This year ARTTRUST Webdesign is also based in Weesp.

2015 WHAT'S NEXT?
IN THE PLANNING:
1. GO ARTIST!
Another project in China is planned in 2015.
2. SET#NET
New plans are being made. One project will take place in Spain. Keep you posted.
3. GRAIK
This year Wim will officially become a pensionado. In INKIJK there will be an exhibition before the 31 volumes about my 30 years of teaching at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy will go to the City Archive.
5. SOAK
Wim Vonk, Marion Molier and Marja van Putten are teaching each one week at Sommeracademie in Greece Zakinthos in June. http://www.sommerakademie.at

Both artists each have created a painting of 2 x 2 meters and invited the public to take part in the process. Every week a few questions for our FB friends mooved the paintings into a specific direction.

This year on one new site, the restyle of the website of Pakhuis Schottenburch which replaces the old one made in 2004. The site will be filled next year with photos and invitations and other memorabili. The documentation of this artist initiative is archived in 2 big folders.

This year the initiative Art-trust of three artists Marja van Putten, Hermine Stam, Annechien Verhey became public. We started a Facebook page to get response. Immediately we got many likes. Next year our aim is to professionalize the organisation.
Art-trust will collect online photos and websites of artists who passed away. And will inform and help their relatives about their artistic lagacy.
ARTTRUST maakt nog steeds opvallende websites bijna allemaal in Wordpress. Een fantastisch 'open source' systeem met allerlei extra mogelijkheden.
