The most important thing we did this year was our residency in Botopasi Suriname. 
We had a wonderful time there with an exhibition in Fort Zeelandia.

Van 20 jun t/m 11 aug hebben 2 Nederlandse kunstenaars, Wim Vonk en Marja van Putten uit Amsterdam en één van oorsprong Surinaamse kunstenaar, Isidoor Wens wonend en werkend in Den Bosch (NL), gewerkt in Botopasi.
MARRON MUSEUM SAAMAKA
After visiting the museum in Pikin Slee Wim thought about one of the African sculptures of Klaas de Jonge in Weesp.The chair is similar to the one we saw in Pikin Slee. Klaas was pleased to give the sculpture to this museum. It is already sent as an addition of value and a symbol to show the origin of the Marron people in the interior Suriname.

SET#NET is a group of artists that formed a network for installation art. Wim Vonk and Marja van Putten did both participate.
WEESP - TRACO
After 6 years we still have our studio in Weesp, where we work together and often have visiting artists who work with us in this big space. At the moment Vera de Groot, Eva Vonk and Tom Vonk are regular visitors.
We made a new website especially to show our videos, videos made here in Weesp to expose our working environment.

We work at least every Wednesday and Sunday.
2013 WHAT'S NEXT?
IN THE PLANNING:
1. Germany
This year we will get in touch again with our German contacts from 2011 and try to follow up our Cologne show in Kunsthaus Rhenania.
2. Hoofddorp
We are showing our work in Hoofddorp at the Meerse. If it works out that will be in the end of 2013.
3. Residency in Weesp
From 16 february till 10 March Marja will work in Weesp to focus on her painting.
4. Paintandso
We will ask your attention for Marja's painting weblog paintandso.
5. Moviebox
Also in 2013 you can enjoy the flash animations in Wim's MOVIE BOX

During this exhibition our work was still on its way from Suriname to Holland. It arrived the 21th of December and will be shown somewhere next year. For the exhibition in Den Bosch we showed the last piece before we went to Suriname.
ARTIST TALK WITH EVA PEL
Marja van Putten asked Eva Pel to analyze her Art and Strategy. The conversation took place in different rooms in Weesp. One part was in the testroom where you can switch colours.

Thoth&Angelique played in Weesp in Wim's newest installation
ARMANDO
In the beginning of this year we visited Armando in Germany. A wonderful time with a boattrip an a good meal! in the end of this year we made 3 'Schalen' with him, a honourable job which is becoming more and more inspiring.
GRAHAM BOYD
We also visited Graham Boyd at his show and studio. What a great painter he is! and coïncidentaly about the same age as Armando. How hopeful to see these old men working with so much mental strenght. Marja swapped a painting with him!
RAUHER ENGEL
In oktober Rauherengel was rehearsing for their new dance theater play for children WIWAWIT. It is a wonderful sparkling and clear piece for the young onces (from 2 years). More info and playlist at their website: rauherengel.com

The first project of HOODINC is to sponsor the building of a studio for artists in Botopasi at ARTCEB residency. The planning is to start next year and it will take 2-3 year to be finished.

ARTTRUST heeft in 2012 veel websites gebouwd en ontworpen in Wordpress. Een fantastisch 'open source' systeem met allerlei extra mogelijkheden. Over het algemeen is het maken van een site daar goedkoper van geworden. Voor een hele lage prijs al kunt u een weblog laten maken.
